Take the 1% Generosity Challenge
We want to be more generous. We want to invest with an eternal focus rather than in things that will wither and fade away. But unless we put into place a gameplan to do it, nothing will ever happen. Here are some ideas to implement this week!
As your pastor, I want you to be the most generous person you can become, for God's sake. I think VBC is a great place to invest in Kingdom work and this is the place I give first and foremost in a significant way. However, if you think this is a ploy to raise money for our church, or if you have a hangup with church in general or with VBC specifically, then let's talk about growing as a generous person by giving elsewhere (below are some ideas)! The important thing is that you begin increasing your Kingdom investment (which lasts forever) and decreasing your earthly investing (which you will lose in less than 100 years)!
