We had wonderful weather and a fabulous day at our Barn Bash 2008.  Over 400 people came out for the afternoon - and between 25%-30% of those people were family and friends who are not normally a part of our church. That's great!

Pie Baking Contest:

Who knew eating pie could be so much work?  (If this is work, sign me up!) Anne Camey had a team of 10 judges selflessly volunteered their services.  They tasted, compared and judged 17 pies based on appearance, crust, filling, consistency, overall flavor and creativity.

And the winners were....

• 4th place went to Bev Hernandez (458 points)
• 3th place went to Jennifer Peacock (459 points)
• 2nd place went to Amy Schwarz (487 points)
• 1st place went to Kathy Camey (515 points)
• Most creative pie went to Amy Schwarz
• Best 1st time pie baker went to Ellen Miller
