Friends for Life
Aylah and Ashley snuggle up for the frigid "hobo" breakfast on the beach on Thursday morning. It's been raining off and on for the past two days... It looks about the same for the next two days... but should be warming up a bit.
Wrestling Lessons
Vic figured that the dock would be a great place to teach me some wresting basics... with the water hovering in the mid 40's... the kids loved it!
NOTE: (I was already wearing my bathing suit) ;-)
Tippecanoe and Life Vests Too!
You can probably figure out why the #1 rule of the canoe club is NO TIPPING. Kids sign up and get two days of lessons, then they switch to another activity, and I get a new group.

Hi Anne!
I hope you are having a wonderful time! Although the Chicago skyline is beautiful, I know you are going to miss that amazing mountain skyline!!
Christine
p.s. Still don't know what's going on with the Sox, sure you still don't care!

Anne-
I just figured out now how to see you guys on the computer! You know I am such a dork! The pictures are amazing! Looks like you all are enjoying yourselfs with the junior high kids. I am praying for you daily that God works in you to be a great witness and role model for the students! I miss you and love you very much! Can't wait to hear all about it!
Love, Wendy
P.S. Your Walmart raincoat looks amazing on you too :)

Anne, looks like my prayer was answered and you didn't get thrown in the lake! I'll still keep praying for your safe distance from all water that is not at least 85 degrees or warmer. And no, Laura, I don't think she should go in the freezing cold water just to say she did it. ;-)
Cubs news: They lost Friday's game to Toronto 2-3, but they won today's game 6-2.
I'm praying for clear skies and warm weather for your final days there. I know that God has given each of your team specific gifts that He wants used during this trip. He'll reveal Himself mightily through each one of you. Thank you for being available to serve the kids at Camp Tanalian.

Where's Anne in these pictures...how come she's no where near the water in any of them?
Wish I could've been there for the canoeing. :)
