THE GREAT ADVENTURE
Psalm 127
Finding success in the adventure of parenting involves three steps:
1. Don't overestimate the part you play.
Never forget:
- God planned it.
- God provided it.
- God protects it.
2. Don't overdo it at your job.
Leaving our labors to God protects us from:
- Unhealthy ambition.
- Unproductive anxiety.
When we leave it to God He gives an:
- Unbelievable dose of Ambien.
3. Don't overlook your family.
Children are to be:
- Straightened.
- Sharpened.
- Set in the right direction.
- Shot off.
