GOD IS OUR SECURITY IN TIMES OF TROUBLE
Psalm 46
1. Trouble is a guarantee in life. (John 16:33)
- Global trouble
- Around/near me trouble
- Deep inner trouble
2. There are two options in dealing with trouble.
- The world:
- Substance abuse
- Relationships
- Self-destruction
- The Lord:
- Through a personal intimate relationship
- Through personal time with Him in His Word
- Through fellowship with His people
3. Why the Lord is the best option in dealing with trouble
- We have peace within because He is sovereign.
- We have power within because the Most Powerful is in us.
4. When trouble comes we must redirect our thoughts.
- Review the works of the Lord.
- Reclaim the words of the Lord.
