True contentment is found when we allow the Lord to:

1.  Shepherd us in the right direction.

  • This brings:
    • Rest
    • Refreshment
    • Restoration
    • Righteousness
    • Renown

2.  Settle us in times of despair.

  • These valleys show us the:
    • Reason for suffering
    • Christian's reaction to troubled situations
    • Response from our Shepherd

3.  Satisfy our desires.

  • This is found in our:
    • Position
    • Possessions
    • Place
