Man at Work #16 (SG) - Growing Pains

 

GROWING PAINS
Mark 9:1-28

 

God wants to grow our faith.  Through the disciples we see that growing our faith involves:

1. Getting a glimpse of His glory.

     We do this by seeing Christ in:

          • His purity
          • Biblical prophecy
          • God's proclamation

 

2. Believing in His capability.

     He's capable of:

          • Handling the hardest situations
          • Hearing our most heartfelt pleas
          • Helping increase honest faith
          • Healing our most painful hurts

 

3. Embracing His strategy.

     This involves:

          • Believing
          • Praying
          • Hoping
