Practicing Patience in an Impatient World Galatians 5:22-25 Practicing patience comes as we answer the following questions: 1. How do we define patience? Patience is a calm endurance in various circumstances that is based on the certainty that God is in control. 2. What makes patience so difficult? It goes against: The human condition. Our culture. 3. In what areas is patience to be displayed? When it comes to: Trouble: it helps us not give up. God’s plan: it helps not to speed up. Our enemies: it keeps us from being fed up. 4. How do we defend against impatience? Defending against impatience: Remember Jesus when your patience runs low. Build relationships with patient people. Release your impatience appropriately. Get ready for your patience to be tested. Rely on God’s help.
