1 Kings 18:20-40
As we examine this epic battle we see:
1. The pre-game fanfare.

- Terms of the contest.
2. The prize fight.
- This involved the:
- Spastic activity of the Baal prophets.
- Settled approach by Elijah.
3. The post-game fallout.
- This includes:
- Exaltation of God.
- Execution of godless prophets.
Some guiding principles
- Don't be mistaken -- idolatry isn't just about statues.
- Prayer is the believer's most powerful weapon. Start praying more!
- One life dedicated to making a difference can change the world.
