Panera - Orchard Road

Get a recap on this past missions conference by reading the blog!

World evangelization is a huge assignment, but we have an immense power source at our disposal through the Holy Spirit. We must not let this resource go untapped!
Please set aside the third weekend of January to both celebrate and experience the power of God at work through the “Acts 1:8” ministries of Village Bible Church.

Friday, January 15th
EVENING:
Passport to Fun! (at Village Bible Church)
6:00 – 8:00 pm
Come for pizza, a short film, a puppet show, and a “missionary fair with activities for every age!
Children will experience multi-sensory exposure to real-life missionaries as they collect stamps in their “passports,” while adults will get a behind the-scenes look at missions.
(Childcare is available for two years and younger)
MORNING:
Participate in Missions! (at Grace Bible Church)

Village Bible, Grace Bible, and World Relief will join arms in reaching out into the refugee community on the west side of Aurora.
The morning starts at Grace Bible Church where we’ll head into the refugee neighborhoods for service projects, and then culminate with bringing refugee families back to GBC for lunch!
MORNING:
Parade of Nations! (at Village Bible Church, Grace Bible Church, and First Baptist Church)
8:00 am, 9:45 am, & 11:00 am
In the Sunday services, and the ABF Hour, spend time with our newest ministry partners and see some of our latest strategic additions to the supported ministry team. Meet missionaries from all around the world.
EVENING:
Power Partnerships! (at Village Bible Church)
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Enjoy a festive farewell dinner for our missionaries and then carry the missions focus to our own Jerusalem and Judea as we discuss the vision behind adopting and helping local sister churches grow their impact for Christ in their community – the Resurgence model God seems to be leading us to. Grace Bible Church and First Baptist of Shabbona will join us as well as friends from the New Life Community Churches in Chicago who God has placed in a very similar model and ministry for the past 12 years.
