Howdy Parents,

Hello from out west. Wow!!! Another week of VBS has begun! The enthusiasm and excitement in the kids is contagious. This year at Saddle Ridge Ranch our motto is “Need Answers? Ask God!” While we blaze through the west we will be roundin’ up questions and drivin’ home answers.

James 1:5 says “Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him” Today your little cowpokes studied Who Am I? Our story came from Genesis 2 -4:24 where we learned that we are special because God made us and we are the crown of creation. What a wonderful truth for our children and us, as adults, to hold on to!!!!!

Worship Rally Valley taught us new songs that are sure to be heard around your home. Recreation on Mustang Mountain at Saddle Ridge Ranch today was nothing short of sensational! I was almost ready to dive in myself, but then I caught sight of the delicious snacks at the Big Sky Grill and had second thoughts. Crafts at Blazing Star Stables were a blast and brought just the right amount of creativity down home. We are excited to see what the rest of the week will bring.

Today we began the first part of our missionary story about the Hatton family. Some special guests came today to tell us all about it. It is wonderful to have the children hear stories about the mission they are raising support for. They get a chance to see Jesus Christ actively at work in their world!!
