<title>Great is Our Unfaithfulness: Living Like God in an Unfaithful World</title>
  <description>Great is Our Unfaithfulness
Living Like God in an Unfaithful World
Galatians 5:22-25
Fulfilling faithfulness in our lives means exploring:

This attribute of God's. God's faithfulness is seen in:
His sustaining of creation.
His saving us from our sin.
Each story found in Scripture.
Three aspects of faithfulness. Faithfulness involves:
Absolute honesty.
Utter dependability.
Unswerving loyalty.
The areas where faithfulness is needed most. We need to be faithful when it come to our:
Walk with God.
Words.
Life after the wedding.
Family's well-being.
Work.
Witness.

<title>Practicing Patience in an Impatient World</title>
<description>Practicing Patience in an Impatient World
Galatians 5:22-25
Practicing patience comes as we answer the following questions:

1. How do we define patience?

Patience is a calm endurance in various circumstances

that is based on the certainty that God is in control.

2. What makes patience so difficult?

      It goes against:

The human condition.
Our culture.

3. In what areas is patience to be displayed?

      When it comes to:

Trouble: it helps us not give up.
God’s plan: it helps not to speed up.
Our enemies: it keeps us from being fed up.

4. How do we defend against impatience?

      Defending against impatience:

Remember Jesus when your patience runs low.
Build relationships with patient people.
Release your impatience appropriately.
Get ready for your patience to be tested.
Rely on God’s help.

  <title>Love</title>
  <description>Love
Galatians 5:22-23

As we begin our series studying this fruit, we must remember:

1. The biblical principles surrounding the fruit of the Spirit.

We cannot create fruit on our own.
This fruit must be a complete package.
This fruit has to do with Christian character.
This fruit must be displayed both individually and corporately.
This fruit does not yield its crop all at the same time.
This fruit is the sum total of Christian living.
This fruit isn't a competition.
Bearing fruit is seen in our commitment.

As one observes the first fruit mentioned we must be reminded of:

2. The preeminence of love.

3. The practice of love.

4. The people we are called to love.

  <description>Father Knows Best
1 John 5:13-15

1. We are family.

Our family position is secure.
Our future place is secure.

2. We have our Father’s full attention.

We approach confidently.
We ask accordingly.
We are assured He hears us.

3. We know our Father follows through.

He hears our requests.
We have our answer.

<title>I Only Want What is Best for You!</title>
<description>I Only Want What is Best for You!
1 John 5:5-12

The portrait of a loving spiritual father

1. John’s heart: “I only want what is best for you!”

The joy of fellowship in Christ
The fulfillment of love lived out
The safety in a ready defense

 2. Beware the testimony of man

The spirit of antichrist (then)
The spirit of antichrist (now)

3. Consider the testimony of God’s work

The water
The blood
The Spirit

4. Consider the testimony of God’s Word

Whose word is greater?
Secret knowledge or special revelation?
Eternal life is only found in Jesus Christ

5. Understand the consequence of the testimony you choose

Unbelief: God is made a liar; does not have the life
Belief: God’s witness indwelling; has the life; certain of it
