Friday, February 24

12:00pm Famine Begins

As a group we want to experience the hunger that people in third world countries do on a daily basis. The hunger pains will remind us to pray for those individuals and nations.

5:00pm Meet as Famine Team

The student ministry is hosting this time of discussion and reflection. We will be preparing our hearts for the worship and teaching time. All adults are welcome and invited to join!

6:00pm Worship and Teaching Session

Musical Worship Session and a Teaching Session

7:00pm Journey to Jamaa Film

This film is inspired by the real life story of Margaret and Derick, two orphaned children from Uganda who make the journey from Kampala to Kasangombe in a heartbreaking bid to overcome poverty and experience hope. The film deals with mature themes such as death of a parent, poverty, and a dramatic accident. Parental discretion is therefore advised.

7:30pm Discussion Session

We’ll take time to discuss the film Journey to Jamaa and what our response should be to hunger and poverty around the world.

8:00pm Night Ends

Saturday, February 25

Here's a slide show of our student ministry loving the UYM students.
