This class is on a mission to reclaim the mind for Christ by equipping people to understand and articulate the Christian faith. The Theology Program is a program of Christian theology created with all believers in mind. TTP seeks to give people who may never have the time, ability, or circumstances that allow them to study, the great and rich Christian heritage of truth. Here, you will learn theology historically, biblically, and irenically (in a peaceful manner). The contents of TTP are created from a broadly evangelical perspective, engaging other traditions in a persuasive yet gracious manner. In short, we seek to help people think theologically by understanding what they believe and why they believe it. We believe that all people are created in the image of God and therefore able and desirous to engage in a deep level of theological training. TTP courses are designed with you in mind, walking you step by step through this comprehensive program.

Nursery and Awana are offered during this class.

Raising children is a tough challenge in today's world. Peers and pop culture exert a never-ending pressure on kids. Parents often feel helpless, as every godly principle they teach their children seems to be contradicted by the corrupt principles of this defective world.

The good news is, God has a plan for effectively raising your children and you can learn from it. 

In this Equipping-U clas, you will learn to help your children be internally motivated instead of relying on parental prompters in four areas: Doing what’s right, Dealing with wrongs, Being honest, and Caring about others. We'll teach you about the biblical concept of the conscience and encourage its development.

• Learn how a heart-based approach differs from behavior modification
• The difference between the conscience and the Holy Spirit – and how to take advantage of both in parenting
• Understand your own convictions and learn how to teach them to your kids
• Teach children to take initiative and be responsible
• Apply these principles to parenting children of any age
• Understand Attention Deficit Disorder and provide kids with hope
• Using five tools, develop a plan for change in 30 days
• Coach children to handle their own emotions
• Help kids respond better to correction
• Develop honesty in practical ways

2. Allow members to vote on the elders' recommendation fo add Kevin O'Brien to the team of Sugar Grove local elders.
3. Answer your questions and hear your ideas.

Join other VBC families for a great week together at our summer family camp held in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin at Silver Birch Ranch’s family camp. Family camp offers extended time to build relationships, create shared memories, relax and enjoy fellowship with others in your immediate family and your extended church family. Often more happens relationally during a week of family camp than in a whole year back home.

This is a really fun week for ages 0 through 100.
