When it comes to ministry and theology we believe that we are a part of the body of Christ and the historic Christian faith. We would echo the words of Solomon that there is nothing new under the sun. We also recognize that many men and women far wiser than we have struggled through the issues in days gone by and that we can learn from them - and that many teams of church leaders, pastors and elders today have put forth considerable time developing concise documents explaining complex Biblical themes.
Accordingly, we don't usually try to "re-invent the wheel" but rather start with a foundation of work that others have done.
If you're a church leader and have found yourself on this page, we suspect that may be the case for you too. Maybe you're looking for how other churches have described their position on a particular issue of relevance today or on how they've structured the governance of their church, or on how they approach church discipline, etc.
If that is the case, we want you to know that you are free to take and use any of our documents, assuming that you're using them for Kingdom work and are distributing them freely. You don't need to give Village Bible Church credit if you use our work but remember that most of these documents are not created entirely by us but pull heavily from someone else's work; where that is the case we tried to reference the original source. Accordingly, we would ask that you maintain the referene to those original sources in fairness to them.
Also, if you find ways to improve up on these documents, please send us a copy so that we can benefit from your work!
