Awana @ Aurora
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15)
WHAT IS AWANA
Awana takes place on Wednesday evenings, from September through the first week in May. Children may feel free to join at any time. Awana is a Bible-centered program for children that focuses on learning and memorizing God's Word in a fun atmosphere. Each week, the purpose of Awana is to support parents in providing consistent, positive teaching and training that stresses strong moral and spiritual values. Our clubbers learn about the reality of God and the truth of the Bible.
Parents: We highly encourage parents who have children in Awana to be involved with their own children's spiritual growth by helping their children memorize verses and enjoy the other important Awana activities.
Awana Clubs at the Aurora Campus include:
Sparks | Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Sparks club combines learning with fun to create an atmosphere of excitement that takes kids deeper in to God's Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the Gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Truth & Training | 3rd - 6th Grade
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach kids the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today's young people will become tomorrow's church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow ... today.
To register, dowload the following registration form and submit it in person at our church.
