Men's Small Group: The Dangerous Duty of Delight
Village Bible Church || Sugar Grove, IL

At Village Bible Church, the ministry for 6th-8th grade students is called “Aliens” and for 9th-12th grade students is called "The Refuge." These student ministries are specifically designed to assist parents in the increasingly difficult task of teaching their students about biblical truth and values.
We host a variety of programs designed to meet students at their level of spiritual interest and challenge them to take the next step in their walk with the Lord. Through our new family life center, relevant Bible Studies, camps and missions trips, we want to help you lead your student to become a fully devoted follower of Christ.

A nice way to sum up the mission for this ministry is by say "Go Wide, Grow Deep"
We have a desire to reach kids throughout the area! Not only do we want the outreach of this Church to grow, but we want the impacting actions toward outreach from the students themselves to grow.
We also are whole heartedly striving to disciple the students in the Word of God, that they may be firmly planted in HIM no matter what their future might hold!
GO WIDE
77% of those who trust in Christ as their Savior do so by the age of 21.
There’s an urgency to share the gospel. At Kaneland 4 students died in 9 months. Eternity is at stake!
GO DEEP
* According to Dr. Gary Railsback up to 50% of evangelical college freshman will forsake their Christian beliefs by their senior year of college.
* According to George Barna (in Third Millenium Teens) 2 out of 3 Christian teens will evacuate the church after they graduate from high school. In addition 63% of our teens don’t believe Jesus is the Son of the one true God, 58% believe all faiths teach equally valid truths, 51% don’t believe Jesus rose from the dead and 70% don’t believe an absolute moral truth exists.
