PRESCHOOL
DiscipleLand Preschool is for children ages three through kindergarten and is a child-centered, application based study that guides children to discover a friendship with Jesus and introduces them to God’s wonderful character and His plans. DiscipleLand is an exciting adventure of discovering Jesus - during which children learn how God Leads Us through songs, Bible stories, Bible verses, learning activities and prayer. Children are encouraged to apply Biblical truths in practical ways such as: listening carefully when others read the Bible, helping to take care of younger children, thanking God when they eat food at mealtimes and obeying God’s and family rules.
Each week children participate in prayerfully designed classes that focus on the Bible Story, develop thinking skills and provide personal application of the Bible truths. In addition, children bring home a section called “Parent Partners” that provides opportunities for parents to ask questions about the lesson, learn the memory verse together and participate in suggested activities at home.
Preschool Check-in:
- Preschool children must be checked in at a security station by an adult. Hold on to your security card - you'll need it to pick up your child(ren).
- Please check-in your child during the 15 minutes before the service begins (7:45-8:00 am or 10:45-11:00 am).
Preschool Pick-up:
- Your security card must be presented in order to pick up your children within 15 minutes after the service ends.
- Children in the first service will automatically be taken to their Sunday School class if not picked up by 9:45 am.
We pray that the principles we learn together will help launch your child into the lifelong adventure of walking with God and becoming Jesus’ disciple!

ELEMENTARY
DiscipleLand Elementary is for children in K-5th Grade.
This year, children are headed for Mindanao Island in the Philippines (pretend!) to experience the explosive power of God’s Word!
This Volcano Adventure will guide children to discover how we got the Bible—and why. They will learn about the Bible’s authority, its message, and its purpose. The adventure reaches a peak when someone gets trapped by a flow of molten lava—and learns first-hand about the amazing power of God’s Word! Children will also be challenged to consider ways to encourage people around the world who are translating the Bible into other languages.
Here’s how you can help make your child’s experience even more rewarding:
- Pray for their continued spiritual growth—in character, knowledge, and conduct.
- Talk about the things that your child is learning. For starters, simply discuss the key questions for each lesson. They are listed on the sidebar of this letter.
- Encourage your child to memorize the Bible verses. Go ahead and learn the verses together!
Each lesson in this adventure focuses on developing your child’s interest in and appreciation for the Bible. God gave His Word to transform us to be more like Jesus Christ. May this be true of you and your child as you complete My Volcano Adventure together!
