Women's Summer Study
Grace Givers – Women’s ministry and Bible Study at the Aurora/ Grace Campus Beginning Monday, June 7th at 6:30pm. Women are invited to join an “every other Monday” study of the book of Acts at the Auora/Grace campus. Come along as we consider our calling and the work of the Spirit in our lives, churches and communities. Are you being called out of your ‘comfort zone’? Do you ‘think’ you’d like to serve in a specific area of ministry but are not sure?
This group will be a time of informal study and discussion as we share the facilitating responsibilities each week. The only book you will need for this study is God’s Word!
As an extension of this group, on the ‘off’ Monday nights, we will be ‘walking the talk’ by planning and carrying out service projects. These projects will actually get us reaching out and meeting the needs of others in our churches and communities. Our first ‘projects’ will be to make and decorate cupcakes to give as the snack for “Spotlight on PIC”. Every second Tuesday, from 5-6pm, PIC (Pregnancy Information Center) opens its doors for the community to come in, see the facility and ask questions. We will also be providing the snack for their ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, July 9th.
